Our Story

Hi!  My name is Beth and I started Lone Wolf Craft Studio as an outlet for my creativeness and a way for us to have our own lives back. Instead of working at a dead-end job, I wanted to have a fulfilling career.

I love being able to make crafts and create something special for people to remember a special event or a special day, or for people who just want to decorate their home with custom-made artwork.  I have always been the creative type and discovered that working in that field is a blessing and has given me an outlet for my work.

Luckily my husband, Paul, is more of the analytical type and loves the behind-the-scenes of web building and advertising side of the business.  That way all I have to do is create.

I have found a great medium in wood signs and making them is a great outlet for my creative drive.   This outlet also gives me a chance to teach you guys the same type of joy that I get from creating.

So a little bit about me and who I am.  I grew up in a little town in Florida where I met my husband about 25 years ago and have been married for 19 years.  We have 2 wonderful children, one in high school and the other just starting college.  We moved to Tennessee about 10 years ago and haven’t looked back.  We bought a house, rescued a dog, and have enjoyed the laid-back life of the mountains.  

When COVID hit last year I was laid off from work for about 3 months and it really gave me time to reexplore my creative side.  Paul asked me if this type of business is something that I might want to explore and do professionally.  Me being the type who is used to having a weekly paycheck said “NO WAY”  I really wasn’t willing to take that leap, but the more I thought about it the more I thought “Hey maybe this wouldn’t be such a bad idea.”  And I was right and of course, so was he but I won’t tell him that.  

This website is the first stage of the process. Making and selling our DIY Kits and finished products will get us to the next step, which is opening our studio. Although we are no strangers to online retail as we also run the website EtchedDesigns.com which sells Decals that look like Etched Glass.

You have to always work against what you did before, and even against your taste. You have to stay true to your heritage; that’s what your brand is about.
