Every child has worries.
Sometimes they’re little worries—like being nervous about the first day of school, sleeping in a new room, or trying something for the first time.
Other times, those worries can feel much bigger.
As parents, grandparents, teachers, and caregivers, we want to help children understand their feelings, but finding the right words isn’t always easy. That’s exactly why I created the Children’s Worry Monster Workbook.
Meet Your Child’s New Worry-Fighting Friend
The Worry Monster Workbook was created to give kids a fun and approachable way to explore their worries and feelings.
Instead of simply asking a child, “What’s wrong?”, this workbook gives them activities and prompts that can make talking about those feelings feel a little easier.
The idea is simple:
Give those worries somewhere to go.
Kids can use the workbook to write, draw, think, and explore what may be bothering them—all while having a little fun along the way.
Why a Worry Monster?
Sometimes giving a worry a name or a character can make something that feels BIG seem a little less scary.
The Worry Monster gives children something they can imagine, talk about, and even learn to manage.
It can become a friendly reminder that:
“I have worries, but my worries don’t have to control me.”
This workbook isn’t about making worries disappear overnight. It’s about giving children a safe, creative tool to help recognize their feelings and begin talking about them.
Perfect for Home, Classrooms, or Quiet Time
The Worry Monster Workbook can be used in lots of different ways.
Parents can use it during quiet time at home. Grandparents can keep it on hand for visits. Teachers and caregivers may find it useful as an additional emotional learning activity.
It can also be a great activity for those moments when a child doesn’t quite know how to explain what they’re feeling.
Sometimes putting a pencil or crayon on paper is easier than putting feelings into words.
Available as a Digital Download or Physical Book
I wanted to make the Worry Monster Workbook available in more than one format, because every family has different needs.
You can choose the digital download if you’d like something you can print at home and use right away.
Prefer something your child can hold onto and use again and again?
The physical workbook is also available through the Lone Wolf Craft Studio website.
Both options make a thoughtful addition to a child’s activity collection, classroom resources, or a care package for a child who could use a little encouragement.
